Lavender Majestic meets the needs of a perfect mini-break

Just like the beautiful old tree that enhances the backyard of Lavender Majestic, in Sydney's Blue Mountains, friendships need attention.  You can see that over the decades this tree has been well looked after, and so it has flourished.  Friendships are like that too.  When tended well, they thrive, and like the strong branches of this tree they will nourish and support you through the good times and the not so good.

There is nothing better than spending time with girlfriends.  Whether it's chatting over a coffee or glass of wine, sharing a meal or just watching a movie, it is always fun catching up with all the latest happenings in each other's lives.  And, if you have a partner or children a break away will the girls can be just what the doctor ordered.

Thanks to Nicky Vaux, owner of Lavender Majestic, VacationGoddess.com has discovered a place where you can spend quality time, enjoy relaxing with your girlfriends while all the while being spoilt and pampered.  Whilst no men are allowed at the house you do have a butler.  Could there be anything better?  We think not, it's perfection!

Nicky has been lucky enough to work in venues regarded at the pinnacle of their game including the Ritz in London, Grosvenor House in Park Lane and the Sydney Hilton.  She now takes a great deal of pride in working in the boating industry and running Lavender Majestic.

"I wanted to base the level of service my guests would receive on what I would expect.  I love the finer things in life and I like to share that with others," explains Nicky.

"As a woman travelling to holiday houses myself I find every time I do I just end up doing all the same jobs at a different sink. I'm still clearing up after people, cooking, shopping, filling that dishwasher and making the table.  The concept of Lavender Majestic is that the girls get a TRUE break. They literally do not lift a finger unless they decide to cook lunch and dinner themselves."

"We cook breakfast for them, make and turn down their beds, serve their drinks and plate up their snacks they bring, clear the table, fill and empty that dishwasher and even hand them a robe as they exit the spa. Our girls leave feeling like a Princess and we love that," she says.

You can do a much or as little as you like.  We even spent an afternoon just hanging out at the house in the luxurious robes supplied, chatting and laughing with a glass of wine, enjoying the spa while our lovely butler, Mandy tendered to all our needs.

Mandy was professional, warm and welcoming.  After showing us around the home – where we each picked out our rooms – she invited us to treat the place like our home and just relax.  By the time we had unpacked she had set up plates of nibbles and opened some champagne which we enjoyed in the conservatory, before enjoying the spa.

We dined in and enjoyed old movies – there's a great selection at the house and we awoke to a delicious breakfast served in the main dining room.  A real highlight of our stay was the massage treatments received in the spa room which is on site.  We each came out feeling like we were floating on air.

Mandy can assist with any dinner reservations at local restaurants too if you want to venture out.

Accommodation at the house includes 3 bedrooms – 1 king, 1 queen, 4 king singles in what could be the world's largest bedroom with its own balcony and lounge area.

The house sleeps up to 8 on beds or 10 if you include the sofa bed in the lounge room. There is also 2 bathrooms, 1 ensuite to the queen room.

The house has a very spacious lounge, conservatory, dining and kitchen with double stove, microwave and dishwasher.  A 6 person hot spa sits just outside the conservatory in the level fenced garden – and when you jump out your butler will be there of offer you a warm robe.

There is an open fire in the lounge room, a combustion fire in the kitchen and as there is reverse cycle heating/cooling throughout the house the temperature will always be right.
