Exclusive evening with English rugby’s Lewis Moody MBE

Perfectly timed ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant is proud to announce an exclusive evening with one of English rugby’s greatest players – Lewis Moody MBE – on Thursday 3 September.

Rugby fans can sit down to enjoy first-class food and fine wine in the opulent surroundings of the famous Rib Room Bar & Restaurant in Knightsbridge, then hear first-hand accounts of proud sporting moments and personal achievements of the former England Rugby captain, nicknamed ‘Mad Dog’.

Lewis Moody MBE played for Leicester Tigers and Bath and was the most-capped England flanker until injury forced him to call time on his illustrious career. As well as captaining England (2010-2011), his achievements include two 6 Nations Championship Winners medals; seven Premiership Winners medals and he was part of the team that won the Rugby World Cup in 2003.

Moody will reveal what it takes to be a winner, share anecdotes of personal triumphs against the odds, highlight the importance of teamwork and share intimate insights into the character behind the ‘Mad Dog’ name. Following his talk, the floor will be open to questions and Lewis will ‘try’ to answer as many as possible.

The event is perfectly timed – taking place two weeks before the start of the month-long Rugby World Cup in England – so expect Lewis to also share his thoughts on the teams and players to watch. The evening is the perfect gift for any rugby fan, as well as an ideal group incentive or team-building night out.

The evening’s four-course dinner includes duck liver parfait, seared Orkney scallop and herb-roasted fillet of beef, plus half a bottle of wine, tea or coffee and a digestive. Booking is essential and the price is £100 per person.
