Summer or Winter New Adventures Await at Lake Crakenback Resort and Spa

When it comes to onsite adventure activities, Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa in the New South Wales Snowy Mountains has always been ahead of the game, and their latest ‘off piste’ experiences are no exception.

Three new activities, which include a private Segway experience, morning yoga class and an exhilarating guided mountain bike tour, have launched for their Spring/Summer program.

Self-guided Segway Experiences
For just $65 per person, you can explore the beautiful scenery of the resort and neighbouring Kosciuszko National Park on the quirky no-emissions personal transporter for one and a half hours. Available from 2pm – 3.30pm Monday to Friday outside of school holiday periods.
 
Morning Yoga
Why not begin the day by bending and stretching at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa’s new morning yoga class. The one-hour class will take place at 7.30am on Saturdays and Sundays and every day during school holiday periods. The cost is $10 per person.
 
Mountain Bike Tours
Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa’s new guided mountain bike tours allows you to discover some of the resort’s most popular attractions on a mountain bike including the Thredbo River and a custom-built mountain bike park that includes a skills area, a downhill flow track set with tabletop jumps and berms and a pump track. You can also learn from expert guides and pick up tips on how to move over the bike, choose riding lines, select gears and use brakes correctly. The one and a half hour tour runs every Saturday and Sunday at 9am (daily in school holidays) and is priced at $25 a person.
 
These new experiences join a bevy of other ‘Activate’ offerings like Kosciuszko alpine walks, the very popular river sled tours, fly fishing and kayaking– all complete with a local expert instructor or guide.
 
They also compliment the many free resort activities and facilities including s a nine-hole par-three golf course, low ropes course, trampolines, canoeing, trout fishing in Lake Crackenback, archery, heated indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, tennis and more.
 
Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa offers a selection of contemporary one, two and three bedroom apartments with spectacular mountain views, spacious living areas, cosy fireplaces and private balconies.

An action packed two-night stay at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa starts from $315 per person twin share in a Gold Studio apartment.  The package includes two nights accommodation, daily hot breakfast, your choice of a Segway Eco Tour, River Sled Tour, Guided Fly Fishing Tour, Kosciusko Self Guided Day Walk or a Guided Mountain Bike Tour including full-day mountain bike rental.
