Cinderella to Meet her Prince at Sydney’s State Theatre
A new version of Cinderella now playing at Sydney's State Theatre is a spectacular, magical, and laughter-filled production that will appeal to the whole family. This family modern, musical panto version takes on the greatest fairytale of all time and transforms it as only the style of a traditional British Panto can. It is a winner!
This magical rags to riches story features sumptuous glittering sets, gorgeous fairytale costumes, fantastic song and dance numbers, infectious and riotous comedy, magic and bags of audience participation. Fun and laughter is guaranteed for the whole family!
Cast member and newcomer to the stage, Craig Bennett – who plays one of the 'Ugly Stepsisters' – captures the role brilliantly with wit and stage presence along with Lara Mulcahy – who comes direct from starring as ‘Madame Thenardier’ in Les Miserables – and plays the role of Fairy Godmother with laughter, grace and style. However, it is Kev Orkian as ‘Buttons’ who steals the show from the start and takes the audience on a truly magical and fun filled journey.

Produced by recent Channel 10’s ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ inmate, Bonie Lythgoe the cast includes ‘The Real Housewives of Melbourne’ favourite, Gina Liano who plays the Wicked Stepmother; Lara Mulcahy as the Fairy Godmother; Jimmy Rees (aka Mr Giggle) is ‘Dandini’; Kev Orkian is ‘Buttons’; Peter Everett is ‘Baron Hardup’; Craig Bennett and Josh Adamson play the ‘Ugly Stepsisters’; ‘Prince Charming’ will be played by Hi5 favourite, Tim Maddren and ‘Cinderella’ will be played by Manie Hadwen.
CINDERELLA is the third panto produced by Bonnie Lythgoe after the success of Snow White Winter Family Musical in 2014 followed by Aladdin and His Wondrous Lamp in 2015.
