Calling more Australian Ports Home

P&O Cruises has confirmed its place as one of Australia’s leading cruise lines, with its latest program featuring cruises from every mainland state for the first time, including new holidays to Indonesia from Fremantle.

Offering a record 143 cruises, highlights of the 2014-15 program include P&O Cruises’ first roundtrip sailings from Adelaide, as well as an extended season of cruises from Melbourne to South Australia and Tasmania, and new ports of call in Papua New Guinea.

The cruise line has also announced it will return to Western Australia in 2015, basing its superliner Pacific Jewel in Fremantle for the first time for a program of eight cruises to Asia and Western Australian ports.

The new P&OSeaAsia cruises from Fremantle will include two 12-night sailings to Lombok, Bali and Komodo Island in Indonesia, priced from AU$1299* per person quad share, as well as a 14-night cruise from Fremantle to Singapore with calls to Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and Vietnam, priced from AU$1299* per person quad share.

In response to strong demand for its 2014 cruises from Melbourne, P&O Cruises has also announced a longer Melbourne season in 2015, featuring five roundtrip cruises including several to South Australia and Tasmania. Fares for a six-night Southern Getaway to Port Lincoln, Adelaide, Robe and Kangaroo Island from Melbourne are priced from AU$799* per person quad share.

Pacific Jewel will also offer two roundtrip cruises from Adelaide with holidaymakers able to choose from an 11-night cruise or a nine-night cruise, taking in highlights of Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia. Fares start from AU$1199* per person quad share for nine nights.

Meanwhile Pacific Dawn will feature more Papua New Guinea cruises from Brisbane, including an exotic 14-night cruise with maiden visits to the ports of Madang, Kavieng and Rabaul as well as scenic cruising of the Vitu Islands departing February 14, 2015 and priced from AU$1499*.

On sale from April 12, the program also includes an array of new SeaBreak options including the cruise line’s fleet of three ships in Sydney Harbour for Australia Day 2015 and a five-day cruise from Sydney to Melbourne to take in the Australian Open tennis.
