A chic neighborhood pub perfect for lunch, dinner, drinks or a night out.

The Ivanhoe Hotel Manly has traded in the Manly area since 1864 and from its present location on The Corso since 1901. It has been owned and operated by Sydney residents, the Peterson family, since 1985.

The Ivanhoe Hotel's extensive and affordable menu serves up the food you love to eat; no fuss, delicious, and using the highest quality and freshest produce available. The team will make all pizza bases, burger patties, stocks, chutneys, mayonnaise and sauces on the premises to retain the handcrafted essence of the venue. The impressive new ground floor pizza and burger kitchen also includes a large takeaway menu for those on the go.

The drinks menu retains all the classic pub favourites with the addition of a boutique layer to the beer and spirits menus as well as some quirky and fun cocktails including the Sorbet + Sea Salt Margarita (gold tequila, Cointreau, house-made sorbet, and a pinch of pink sea salt served short over chipped ice.)

The pub is classic, sophisticated, relaxed and welcoming with lots of natural timbers, sandstone walls, lush greenery and coastal chic furnishings. Various elements of the local beaches community have been incorporated into the bespoke design and build including paintings of old surf club members adorning the walls.

The variety of different open areas throughout the pub allows you to tailor your own experiences; whether it is casual large lunches with the whole family, afternoon cocktails in the sun with friends in one of the open-air courtyards, quiet corners for a quick bite to eat or late night celebrations in rooftop bar, The Pines.

The Ivanhoe Hotel engaged some of the industry's best including esteemed food and restaurant consultant Lothar Winkler (Intercontinental and Hyatt Hotels), Bar Solutions bar consultant Grant Collins (Hilton's Zeta Bar, Water Bar, Ku De Ta and W Hotel, Bali), multi-award winning design architect Paul Kelly Design and highly-regarded interior stylist, Sibella Court (Mr. Wong, The Beresford Hotel).

The ground and first floor offer seated dining and bar areas while The Pines, on level two, recreates the fun of an old-school surf club hangout complete with ping pong bats, tennis racquets, dance floor, outdoor greenhouse and of course, lots of lush pine trees.

The Ivanhoe still boasts one of Sydney's best spots for TAB and sport watching as well as an impressive boutique bottle shop.

Goddess Tip: Try their punches – our favourite, the Granny Smith Cider Punch combines vodka, apple liqueur, granny smith cider, elderflower, fresh pressed lemon and lime served in a pitcher over ice, great to share.
