Flames Celebrates 10 Years of Rainforest Fun
Flames of the Forest re-opens this week after its annual refurbishment with a celebratory air marking 10 years of operation in its stunning tropical rainforest venue of Far North Queensland.
Also updated is the menu and dining options with executive chef David Spencer upping the presence of tropical produce.
Tucked away in a fairy tale pocket of rainforest, Flames of the Forest opened in March 2003 producing stunning off site rainforest events, combining magnificent local produce with a spectacular candle lit setting offering a fantastic selection of entertainment and impressive special effects. The venue caters for groups of 10 guests through to 850 guests for a sit down dinner and has the advantage of no noise restrictions giving groups the opportunity to enjoy live music and dancing for longer.
Since opening, Flames of the Forest has also gained an international reputation for its two rainforest leisure experiences:
The Aboriginal Cultural Experience features two local Aboriginal brothers sharing their remarkable culture with guests during the evening. The performance includes a cultural background, story telling, didgeridoo playing and song.
The Rainforest Dining Experience showcases a six course tropical tasting menu and quality Australian wines. Perfect for honeymooners, small wedding receptions and those seeking a unique dining experience, Flames of the Forest is truly food for the soul.
